A virtual silent auction to raise funds for cancer patients and their families will be held from 6 p.m. Thursday, June 9, through 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, by the CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations. The “Evening of Hope” offers 180 items valued at more than $65,000, a news release said.
On the evening of June 18, "Kentuckians across the state will host dinner-party fundraisers, a mission moment and inspiring stories of hope," the release said. "In 2021, the event raised more than $360,000."
Items include weeklong vacations in the South of France, St. Pete Beach in Florida and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico; 2022-23 season tickets for Kentucky men’s basketball; a 50-inch TV set; distillery and farm tours; a box at Keeneland’s 2022 fall meet; wine and bourbon baskets, a handmade sterling-silver and 14-karat yellow gold bracelet set.
